Yep I can relate to that problem.....My GTS spoiler has multiple cracks in it after being painted, mainly on the ends where there isn't as much support as the rest of the spoiler Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Winter is always slow for updates on things. For me i'm still trying to find someone to paint my engine bay for me, without them charging a small fortune. Had a few potential painters who quoted pretty nicely but they all seem to just disappear before they even see the car in person. If I haven't found anyone by summer then ill be doing a back yard job myself. Since I don't have a garage I can do it in.

Spent 5 hrs cutting the paint work on the Brock using water based 2000 grit paste(by hand)Did the roof, tailegate, bonnet, and the upper door panels and the front guards,I Have a Paint shop buffer but shy away from the chrome strips so that is why I do it by hand. The paint was always great,But now the mirror finish is Fantastic! The paint has been on for four years and all I have ever done is washed it.It has been done shingle roads and apart from the odd stone chip she is all good!

I have raised the factory flair on the std guard by 50mm to fit the 11" wide rear wheels and finally fitting the fibreglass bonnet a mate made years ago that incorporates the eyelids [Click image for larger version Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1376290989.739819.jpg Views: 78 Size: 57.5 KB ID: 61003] (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/attachment.php?attachmentid=61003&d=1376290994) [Click image for larger version Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1376291318.797498.jpg Views: 77 Size: 49.6 KB ID: 61004] (http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/attachment.php?attachmentid=61004&d=1376291318)

The trike has a 5hp Tecumseh motor and a comet CTV unit, it wheel stands off the mark and will tow a car trailer (yes has a tow ball) comet disc brake, I need to give it a freshen up first. I had a Tru Test awhile back...Made in New Zealand like the original's but much newer and also with a Tecumseh engine. Went like a rocket Let me know if you would sell it and how much you'd want...Always wanted a little trike Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Aye??? Your kidding I was never able to find any information out regarding who made them or when they were made or how many were made. I'm not just saying this, but it actually was the best Mini Bike I've ever owned Id be keen to hear more about them...Specifically how many were made and when you made them? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Haha, you're just saying that.... Me and my brother made them in my garage in Ardmore from 2002ish, made 65 in total. Every piece of the frame and forks was hand cut, the pipe bending, welding etc was all done by us. The only outsourced job on them was the powder coating. They took a heap of hours to make, I still have lots of spares for them. We took around 6 months of testing to come up with things like the fork rake angle that worked the best. In the 65 were 2 trike versions, I have one here that does 90kph with a Tecumseh factory race motor (was 5.5hp modded to 13 with ported head, forged hi comp piston, stainless valves, billet con rod, big cam, billet carb etc) it has brakes front and rear and is on slicks. I'll try and dig out a brochure and scan it

Geeez that's amazing..... I always figured they had to be NZ made, as they were too well built to be Chinese crap, along with the Italian engine (which I'd never heard of). I remember a mate crashing it and breaking either the brake lever or throttle mechanism.....Near impossible to replace it, as no shop I went to had ever seen one of the Bikes before haha Ever since Ive been keeping an eye on Trademe to try and find another one, but I don't think many people are keen to sell them because of how reliable they are.....Makes me more pissed I sold that one I had Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
