where did you trim off the manifold?did the top of the turbo hit on the bottom of the manifold?is your intake pipe going to fit on between the turbo and the engine mount? i had do put a 20mm spacer inbetween the manfold and my turbo and had to grind the f*ck out of my engine mount!!!oh and i have to undo the engine mount bolt and jack the motor up so i can get the turbo and manifold on haha, looks good man, real tidy ---------- Post added 09-10-10 at 10:05 ----------

Id heat wrapped it before trial fitting turbo, then found turbo wouldnt sit in position i needed,so took the heat wrap off again to see what the story was,was hitting on mounting point for factory heat sheild.sorted now. I keep the module i had instead of swapping it,should still do the job needed. ---------- Post added 09-10-10 at 11:03 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by UNONT2 [View Post] where did you trim off the manifold?did the top of the turbo hit on the bottom of the manifold?is your intake pipe going to fit on between the turbo and the engine mount? i had do put a 20mm spacer inbetween the manfold and my turbo and had to grind the f*ck out of my engine mount!!!oh and i have to undo the engine mount bolt and jack the motor up so i can get the turbo and manifold on haha, looks good man, real tidy ---------- Post added 09-10-10 at 10:05 ---------- Danny your turbo is like twice the size of mine, bahaha. only just and i mean JUST hit on the little mount point for factory heat sheild, trim it back and she mounted sweet as,i thought i was guna have to get spacer but nah. Yip the intercooler pipe will fit on intake, think one of pics has it on there. I wouldnt wana start trim back the engine mount, starts getting messy then.you have done nice job of doing so though. And bugger having to go through that to get turbo off. cheers man.

Yea should go heaps better with all the bits and pieces ive thrown at it this build. Guna be an interesting sound too, screamer pipe, dose pipe, blow off valve, and exhaust dumped at diff.

Thanks guys! Yea i like it,will be done again later on once engine is out. Fired her up tonite, hell she is an animal.shoulds awesome as,and timing needs to be sorted will sound alot better then, quite loud with the 3" and screamer. Took her for quick gallop.bit ruff but felt good to have her running. Caught on fire though which wasnt much fun,had flashes of all my hard work going up in flames, was just bit off oil on the heat wrap.
