Think it's clutch dumps at 60 70 km and there's less meat on the higher diff gears

lol pretty uncharacteristic for the 78's isnt it? usually axles etc. then again sounds like you drive it "uncharacteristicly". what was the quality of the other gears used? were you buying brand new gears or just 2nd handies? because i know my brand new 3.9s were close to $800, would be pretty upset if i had to buy another set, let alone 2 more sets. dont know who is setting it up for you, but possibly try a different shop?

Well took the car to the pits yesterday on the way to the pits the rear exhaust rubber broke lol they battery box strap broke as I tightend it lol any got there passed the inspection then got told to get the car weighed then went back and waited for the paper work then the inspector told me it had been rejected because of the engines power output compared to the rb30et so now I'm pretty sure I'm gona have to go to a engineer

Yeah mo now I can legaly run a 3540 and my gate as long as it's plumbed in if I get caught with a screamer they can yellow me but to be honest most cops won't even know what one is !! The permits only for my mods that I've done to the car so I can still get a sticker for bald tyres, too low, ect just can't get a yellow for my mods lol if any one needs a good engineer pm me for details and I used adam for soild rocket engineering I highly recomend him as he is also a car enuthist like most of us

Or just hand in the engineer report and get permits?

Yeah that sucks obsesn my engineer said that David abboit isn't the best guy to see and mo if you fill out your mod forms send em away when they come back approved you have 2 years to get your car engineerd that's why it's better to start the process while you still have rego and you will still need a inspection at the pits to get your permits i will no more info next week once I go back to the pits
