thats what i said to mo tonight actually lol. we dragged it behind my mates dads wagon for a good 1k+, out of the drags, down rocko road, into the pub down that way, through lights etc... didnt make any unhappy noises or anything, but then it would just be free wheeling... once i get it up in the air ill know for sure, turn one wheel and see which way the other goes, and see how whats left of the uni turns :P

the gear set could be ok, what i meant was the crown has stood still and as the pinion has turned and had no where to go except to start climbing the crown wheel. This has inturn made the nose of the diff start to point up and just continued until its bent the tubes. The diff/axles/traction was alot stronger than the welds/tubes or what ever has bent.

Yeah jack is pushing me to put it back... I have spare axles so I'll probably use them... Can always keep this one as a backup. These are only 24 year old 28 spliners anyway.

Bent pinion? Spose it could have been worse... At least I didn't Dave Mallon the gears... Not that the end $ result is any different.

Yeah I'm not exactly sure how it's bent, I have asked for the originals to keep. Getting another new set but this will be the last time I do. They are a bit cheaper ATM, but still expensive. This is at cowleys so I trust his judgement. Just sick of breaking stupid ****.
