Lol just read most of this thread hate to have seen how things have gone downhill being a welder myself **** always takes longer than you think it should but a year?
As For the above quote you say your qualified but doesnt sound like it. Downslope is used at the end to avoid crater forming. Which leads to leaks or crater crack which can spread especially in alloy.
As I use to weld cylinder heads i know quite abit about pin holes or perosity as it termed. Most perosity is caused by contamination and cast alloy is the worst for this heads, rocker covers and inlet mainfolds are notorius for soaking up oil ive heated perfectly clean looking heads that and been wash and bead blasted yet as soon as you heat them oil boils out of them almost impossible to avoid unless you want to spend hours apon hours going back over it.

Just letting everyone know whats happening. Basically been a year and a half now since i ordered a catchcan off protig. Have been offered many excuses, but have given up responding to them as i know its all a lie. However ariel from cpc plenums has been kind enough to help me out and make me a catch can, and i've ordered a cpc plenum aswell as i know i will be getting a quality product from him. Good too see theres still some honest people around.
