Only just seen this. Don't get me started it's one of those "less is more" things I guess??
This is the way I see it...
Pros
Turbo, FE2 suspension
Cons
Wind up windows, shit seats, shit wheels, funny colour options, and theyve been thrashed by people who didn't care about the cars because they didn't pay for them
Sorry Aaron, I actually do like the look of them, I just don't understand the obsession

Only look right at bowling clubs!
if your lucky enough you might see one here in full uniform

They like them because they are 'rare', but a Calais wagon (of ANY type) is much MUCH MUCH rarer. As for Alex's comment on the situation.. (and I'm sure he won't disagree here, just bringing the situation up to date) any 20 year old car should have had the shocks and springs replaced and anyone who buys a VLT will want to modify it, which means altering the turbo set up anyway.

^^ Agreed, but I was really talking about factory optioned
But at the end of the day we don't buy everything based on specs. If we did none of us would be driving VLs...
I built my car because I had a soft spot for them, not because of the couch like seats, chrome cabin light or electric windows. Ive even been thinking my next VL may very well be a Berlina with factory paint and pinstripes
