So u didn't have to bash the side of the struts towards the chassis rails to have them fit? Does it leave room for wen the engine torques over?

If you want to sell them I got the cash waiting. Also what radiator are people running? I know most use a 6cyl one but I can get my hands on a cheap pwr v8 with dash fitting welded to it so this would give me a little more versatility in the way if running hoses. Has anyone had any success using a v8 radiator? It's just the ls1 radiators have the inlet and outlet on the same side like the vl 6. the early v8 commodores are opposite sides.

Do the vs radiators fit up the same as the vl units or do mounts need to be made?

What is the best power steer rack and intermediate shaft to use for the most amount of room on the drivers side. I have a vs v8 kframe with tuff mounts. I am looking at trying to get a 3" pipe down both sides without starter relocation. If this is not possible ill notch out the firewall. I was going to try work this out myself in the next few weeks but any pointers would be good.

vl 6cyl does the job, just remember, taking a notch out the drives side can affect your pedals Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The car will never be registered, only strip use. I don't want to run the starter relocation. It would be easier for me to mod the firewall/floor section to get one through. Pedal room is not a problem as I have only two that are wilwood swing mounts that hang off a bar connected the the cage. I will hopefully have everything in the next few weeks to test fit I was just getting a little ahead of myself trying to find the best rack to give me the most room. Ill most likely run one of those slim starters aswell.
