That's awesome. Let me know what you think of the new setup, I have mine in at the moment getting pretty much the exact same thing, platinum sport 2000 flex fuel sensor & e85, terminated loom, ls1 coil etc etc. I should get it back in the next couple of weeks, cannot wait! I'm looking at an iq3 dash as well, but not totally sold yet. Thanks to haltech for the package. This is laying the foundation for the rest of my build so I'm excited to get it back and see how it performs. Now I know there's a similar setup out there I can keep an eye on it. Any particular reason you changed from the microtech? When's it due back on the road?.

I havent got a flex fuel sensor in the system, thats also next! As im running the O2 thru the can I will now need a CAN hub! MORE MONEY LOL! The IQ3 is also next on the list. the microtech was an LT8s so it was batch fire so it didnt idle that nice and cold start was a massive pain in the arse. I was happy with the Microtech but since I am a Haltech distributor I should fit there stuff lol. Due back from the tuners today tomorrow?? should be by the end of the week unless something brakes! lol

your cold start wont be a problem now with the PS2000 and you have **** loads more options in the haltech over the microtech.

I want it to be more street friendly! Everytime I was going to take it out for a drive I couldnt be bothered unless it was a full day thing! looking forward to the haltech controlling everything! O2's Boost the lot!

Something to do with torqueing the head down and evening the load out, also so the inch head stud wasnt pulling down into the head i believe. The engine builder knows all the technical side of it! Im just the guy that steers the car LOL.

During the drivers briefing we were informed 2 days out from the event ANDRA stepped in, so the "Run what you brung" rule went out the window. Disapointed we didnt find out when it happened as I most probley would have towed my car 800 or so Kms. Anyone with a 9 second car that didnt hold a ANDRA licence and had there car pre tech inspected had to back off the throttle at the 1000ft mark! Which sucked arse but I was there so it wasnt like I wasnt going to race. 1st pass was a shake down pass, 10psi launch 1.50 in the 60ft, backed off at 1000ft and hit the brakes to have a look at the run off and rolled through for a lazy 10.36 @ 89mph. 2nd pass 12psi launch 1.53 in the 60ft backed off just after the 1000ft and rolled through with a 9.53 @ 120mph. I was lining up for the 3rd pass and an ANDRA official told me because my car wasn't etched and I didn't have a proper license I was to back off no later than the 1000ft marker and had to be on the brakes before the finishing. 3rd pass I launched at 16psi which sore the car PB in the 60ft with a 1.41, I backed off just before the 1000ft as I wasn't ready to get kicked off the track yet and rolled through for a 9.89 @ 115mph. 4th pass during the burnout I over revved the car and touched the limiter and the engine unfortunately popped the welsh plug out of the head at the rear, which ended my weekend of racing. Couple of positives from the weekend the car PB'd in the 60 over its best by a full tenth of a second (1.41) and went 5.87 to half track thats 3 tenths over its PB pass of 9.50 @ 148mph so next time we are out at the track I think that 9.50 will get smashed!!!!!!! I had a killer weekend and tops to Mr Steve Ramesy XCHASE for organising the VL nationals once again. Great job buddy!
