Dude that rocks! So worth doing! Where did you have to gate plumbed back to? That sounds like it went off easier than you said... Did the engineer even drive it? Anyway great news, god forbid if/when I ever get bent over by the chaps in blue it goes like yours. I'll get the details off you if that ever happens.

Bud can i suggest you buy one of these diff covers they stop the diff housing from warping and missaligning the gears and lunchafying them selfs.... you can pick them up from $200 - $280 just depending on if you get one from the states or not. I wont post the photo out of respect but here is the link to a photo of mine. http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...G_00000022.jpg (http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q147/DEVL_01/IMG_00000022.jpg)

I got mine off ebay..... as steve said my cars not running but if you want a good example of a car thats using one of these covers marks car PRO-VLT is still using his gears from his non turbo diff but with 31 spline axles but hes running in the 9s now using a 2speed powerglide with a transbrake on slicks. Asoon as you start using slicks or dumping the clutch with tyres with a big contact patch and stiff bushings the stress has to be transferd through to somthing. ---------- Post added 27-09-11 at 20:46 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by steve [View Post] he wouldnt know if his diff is better with it cos his vl hasnt been started in 5 years lol quiet you !!! .. ---------- Post added 27-09-11 at 20:47 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by VLWAGONIT [View Post] thoes are the ones that bolt into the bearing caps arnt they? Time for an update as I'm still goin through the engineering process the car has been 5 gas tested and passed!!! The pits went happy with the slipping standard clutch so I sent my Jim berry to get rebuilt and then fitted it also had two power steering leaks which I've also fixed so there is absolutly nothing wrong on my car anymore anyway while wait for rego I've been spending my hard earnt cash on parts for the car these consist of yellow jacket coils, reinforced rear diff housing cover, another set of 3.9 diff gears all new bearings and seals for my diff and a new set of shoes for the big girl I've also started boxing my rear lower diff trailing arms here's some pics that's my smashed pinion the the diff shop I usest to go to done a great job at setting up the backlash also while stripping my diff down I found that the drivers side 31 spline billet Axel has twisted the splines I also found the carrier main caps fairly loose with all bearings in the diff completely ****ed which where apparently brand new !!! Good times lol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
