I've noticed that I only really update this thread when my car is off the road... So in keeping with tradition, here's what's been happening lately: blown 2 sets of tyres, balded my 18's, participated in some street and strip events with a pb of 11.7 on street tyres (18's), and enjoying it most weekends. Monday night my supreme reliable 3spd decided 2nd gear was too much like hard work (again) and will not engage (epic fail - not happy). Meaning the band or pin has broken again and it is sitting back at the workshop now... Whilst it's there I am getting the stall loosened off a bit so i can get stuck into some big boost/rpm transbrake launches. In the next couple of weeks I will invest in another 044, source some race fuel,some slicks/runners and another tune in preparation for my next attack at the strip. If i can secure the 10 I'll be officially announcing this project complete and will retire the car to street duties. It's been a hell of a ride!

i love this car mate cant wait to see it again at a cruise or something coz when i saw it at powercruise it was amazing and it sounds like its just gonna get even better Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hi guys, unfortunate update, thought I'd get in before the rumour mill starts... Got T-boned in Mundaring tonight and the car is a write-off... Thanks to the people that helped me out at the scene, there was a cruise passing through at the time. The heart of the project will be back Asap in one form or another. It's a very sad day.

**** mate... really sad to hear that, your car is one of the nicest i've seen. i've already got some sketches done for your new interior too... whats the insurance situation, i'm assuming you'll re-shell the driveline in some form? also, i have some more pics and videos of it from friday night (particularly boosting through the tunnell) which i'll throw on a cd for ya. let me know if there's anything i can do to help with the new build.
