thanks for the compliments guys, having to stop work on my project car to fund rebuilding my motor which is kind of a pain in the ass, but this is more of a priority since i haven't got a car to drive atm which sucks balls.
got all my engine bits, ended up going for a crane H226 cam, slightly larger lift then a 286, ive heard good things about them.
i just need to get my block/crank machined before i can start putting it back 2gether, but im at a standstill atm!
anybody know any good honest engine/machine shops that aren't gonna screw me on a price?

not too bad, but there's a bit of messing around. engineering is easy as long as it's n/a. bolt the turbo stuff on and they start complaining about brakes and everything.
honestly can't really comment on putting a stock RB in a VK, but mine ended up costing a fair bit... went with a pretty big setup though, and a lot of it was from having to buy random bits we hadn't budgeted for.
