Hi there everyone. Was just wondering if I could use my vc manual steering rack for my conversion or do I need a vl manual steering rack? I am using a Vn v8 k frame. Cheers in advance.

Has anyone fitted a cam to their conversion yet . I've bought a 228/230 Comp cam and wanting to know what other parts I should use with it to get the most out of it while being reliable . Any pointers from someone who's done it ?

I've got a 238/242 cam in mine. Also did Double Row timing chain and also Valve Springs. All new along with new Oil Pump, decked and flowed heads etc with the rebuild. Also put in ARP Rod Bolts while it was all apart.

I reckon cam and head work get the car up to 500rwhp and it will be a very quick car.... In a few weeks i am going to take mine to the creek with the standard 297kw maloo motor with 6 speed gearbox and a 411s diff and see what i run.... i think a low 12 maybe high 11 if i am lucky and i will run full slicks on the back too
