It's embarrassing the event was ever even marketed/going to be run how it was... The rules are only there for our safety, if people can't afford/justify the safety gear they shouldn't be racing. Even running to 1000ft is bad news...

No idea, Not really interested in the politics side of the racing scene! Race Onn promotion who was holding the event had there own insurance. What can you do when you have just travelled 800kms? I didnt kick up a stink I just raced to 1000ft I was happy to be apart of the event and happy to catch up with mates and drink beers!! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Not 100% at the moment. Its been put n the garage and been to busy to look at it. I assume its lifted the head. It still runs perfect like nothings happened but I will look into it further soon.

Sounds like mine. I thought you were onto something with the 1/2 inch studs too. My block is being drilled and tapped for big studs and o-ringed. Hoping that helps keep everything sealed

You only need the big studs you won't need to Oring it. I have 120ftp on my 1/2 studs and running a cometic and never had a problem. Going 13mm studs now with new setup

Hoping that helps keep everything sealed After speaking to my engine builder he seems to think it wouldnt have lifted the head. It would have just distored the head a little and or got an air pocket in the back corner (common problem) causing it to get hot then distort and pop it out. I'm not even going to take the head off. Just knock a new one in and see how we go.

There is 2 welsh plugs at the back of the head. The large 1 is the other end of the camshaft. Its the smaller of the 2 (35mm). ---------- Post added 06-12-13 at 16:34 ---------- A couple of pics from the weekend! ---------- Post added 06-12-13 at 16:38 ---------- Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The 9.50 148mph pass was a while ago now. I cant remember. Sorry man. I now have a PS2000 and data log everything so next time I'm out I will PM you. ---------- Post added 13-03-14 at 08:41 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by gt42 [View Post] Mint car, love following your progress bud Cheers bud.
