Got an offer I couldnt refuse. Straight swaps for my manual set up, the box is out of lockys (tuxedo) old car previously owned by wayne (weezy).
Its a stage 2 MV Automatics jatco with a 2800 stall and came with the B&M shifter and box to mount it. Also has only done 20,000ks since it went to MV's for the build.
Is so nice to drive with and am very glad that I did it.

I'm glad I could help Sean. The conversion turned out awesome and IMO has topped off an already cool cruiser.

cheers locky, not much to update.
Got a series II cluster, cleaned it up and installed it.
Fitted my adjustable panhard rod, still isnt adjusted 100% but at least now the exhaust isnt hitting the rod, has a bend in it to clear exhaust.
When fitting the panhard rod noticed that my diff is throwing out fluid from behind the front yoke, it also has been open wheeling on me quite a bit, i think it might be time for a rebuild.....

Diff was pulled down this weekend to see what was happening, pretty much the whole center was farked.. not even worth rebuilding, the clutches were absoultely stuffed, the oil was full of metal and one of the bolts that hold the ceter together was snapped and the head off of it was in the bottom of the diff... so very lucky it didnt get caught in the gears.
Me and locky went down to UPULLIT and found a grampa spec nc fairlaine with a 28 spline LSD, looked very mint as we were pulling the centre out so were fairly confident it was going to be ok.
pulled it down when we got home and it was mint, so we cleaned it all up, shimmed it up also and put it back together. replaced the leaking pinion seal and slapped it all back together.
went for a drive and it is now a mint very tight LSD.. very happy with it and all up cost me about $150. big thanks to locky once again...

picked up a nistune on friday off of abrowne on here for $400. came with everything i needed to tune it myself. put that in and got it running with a base map for the moment. will be getting my rx7 injectors soon and then seeing how i go with tuning it. also picked up another rocker cover off of vlwagz, paint has been stripped and he kindly drilled and tapped the breather holes for me to suit 1/2'' fittings.
had some fittings sitting in the shed so chucked them in for now, will be getting painted and fitted when i do the injector change, un sure as wether to go wrinkle red again or to go silverslate..

silverslate or wrinkle blue to match everything else in the bay. cover needs speedflows!
