patch are you running a microtech and bigger injectors?

the wheels were the bait and the cops were happy to take it. what was their reasoning for said defects?

louie, nah its all standard computer so luckily its not a bigger headache adam, yeh the sex spec is cop bait but ill get it passed and ill be out there again.... this will be the first of many defects. gauges probably wont go back on though...

yea they will...i told him i didnt even no it exists...but they still fail you for it...for 'exsesive intake noise' or something like that.... Are you going to the one in silverwater? when i got done i took the cooler off, adj. reg, boost tap, hid the map sensor behind the head light, standard exh. with factory cat (pumped out 93db), dummied up the afm, dose pipe off, detuned the car put all the pollution hoses n canisters and i passed first go

yea its 90 db actually...cause i just found the paper that i passed on and it shows mine as 89.1 or something...at 3900rpm.... you no what sucks...you have the opportunity to change everything....the night i got it...there were epa approved inspectors there with the bloody micophone thing and everything ready to go! and there was about 7 people looking at my car ....even cops were like...' yeaa hes guna faiiillll...yeaaaa' Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

6cyls are only suposed to rev to 3200rpm. the microphone has to be a certain distance and angle from the exhaust. most people dont know this thats why they get you easier. "yeah just rev that to 6000rpm for me, oh 120db.... fail" when i got pulled over in the silvia they were telling me to rev it to 4500rpm i think it was and i said 6cyls only rev to 3200rpm and they were like ok. then they said my tacho was out (which it was) so they said rev it an extra 1000rpm. and it was like 91db. i didnt look at the distance the microphone was from the exhaust which i probably should have. and by the side of the road there are cars driving past which will bring the db up aswell.

UPDATE! Car's now down at maatouks... defect will be organised to be cleared still waiting on epa to contact me hopefully when its all done and dusted will be sent off to be engineered for rims,suspension,exhaust and battery well pretty much everything on it

that sux patches. any ideas on cost for engineering?

yeh not too sure on engineering so far, the epa is the main headache and as soon as that is done ill get into serious talks about engineering it... i just want that kind of safety net for when i get pulled up next.... because the 2nd thing the cop asked me for was for engineering certificates... also, i've heard stories of people still getting reamed even when they have certificates but also heard if u got one they cant touch u if the cars exactly how it says on the papers

just a quick engeering question can u get anyting engeered like a highmount, custom plenum, etc or is it very limited?? im looking into getting my new car engeern watever lol, g/l with everything man,

well im pretty sure yes this vk at maatouks is fully engineered its got everything custom on it turbo,plenum,catch can, interior, brakes, cage wheels absolutely everything

**** yea, what so they just look over it make sure everything is installed properly and thats it... cos that sounds to simply, tell us how u go lol
