ok since satuday went rather well and a few cars missed out. i'll make a thread asap for a day cruise next saturday. so we dont lose people this time i'm thinking i'll include a few mapped meet points/times and a basic route. any thoughts on where you guys would want to go? Not sure if ill make this one, my car decided to break down a few hours after this cruise, real bad jolting as soon as id get to a decent speed then turn off, but now its gone away. Does anyone have any suggestions? this ones really got me scratching my head. its off to the mechanics on wednesday but id rather have an idea of what it is then get ripped off. Dillon.

Dillon. what kind of jolting? on or off boost? if ur more specific it'll be easier to try and work out.

its kind of like its not sparking or has no fuel, because the revs drop completely and jolts about 2-5 times very aggresively before it turns off.

sounds to me like its electrical, have you tried swapping out your dizzy and your afm to eliminate them?

try all ur spark stuff, leads, plugs, dizzy, and possible afm. if that doesnt fix it maybe lean towards CAS

oh and ive just noticed the central locking is unlocking itself at random times. Thought i was just forgetting to lock the thing, but it did it a few times when it was jolting, doors locking then unlocking. but now its gone away completely, but i dont wanna drive the thing and break down somewhere, could it have been from using the car all day, or maybe dirty fuel?

could have just been getting hot, were u watchin temp guage? mine was bein a bit funny this arvo after tafe, hell hot outside.

his weekend is looking pretty ****. will probably go all-out for next week
