Haha, I'm in tears, its so funny cuase its so true you little sh1t!! I can't believe what you have gotten away with on that car. Hurry up and tune the thing!! But i still ove ya;o)~
6BOOST
Just had my cars tune finished with Kyles twin turbo kit fitted to my ls1 with 9.5 P.S.I. of boost on a stock motor. Not a bad result infact for peak power it matched the best and most expensive kit on the market and beat it for spool up as well and their turbos are a little smaller so should spool up faster.
As you can see it was done on a Dynolog and they a generally more conservative when it comes to stated power output.
Top job Kyle.
P.S. graph was done in Kph but I added R.P.M. which was taken from another graph from same dyno. Its 100% accurate no bullsh!t here.

My injectors have been moded by Kyle and are 67lb at 59psi (standard ls1 fuel pressure is 58psi).Yeah forgot to add it has valve springs which as you know does not change power output.Cheers.

no problems, but that's all u have done, no other mods, no bigger fuel pumps etc, just 6boost moded injectors, and the valve springs? no fuel reg's etc?
and what about the tune?
not being negative, i am just letting people know up here so i can give them all the info
also if u don't mind, what was your final cost for running? intercooler etc, what it cost all running
and kyle if u can answer, what would the most boost u could run out of this setup, as in if the engine wasnt and issue, is 500rwkw plus possible!
as in the injectors etc size required

Ok you need to upgrade the fuel sytem and depending on how much power you want will depend on what you need to do.500rwkws is I think possible as on the garrett website they rate these turbos up to 475hp each and my fuel system is set up for this type of level.
Kyle would have a better idea of what price it could be done for so he can answer that. What you do need to consider is stuff like a clutch or auto upgrade and exhaust mods, brakes come in handy also.
Add another $800-1200 for a tune depending on where you go and how good you want it and thats about it.
okies, i'm trying to get kyle some work up here, and they are bagging the kit cause it isn't a full kit, as in missing stuff,
how much rough did it cost to get it all finished as in cooler piping bov etc! dumps
and also the comment about the out performing more expensive kits, they said is crap? please help

Ok well yeah it's not as full a kit as some others and once again Kyle will answer that tomorrow for you and he has a better idea with cost also.
My comment with power was that it matches the peak power of what I consider the best kit and out spools it.
If you need proof to take to them copy this graph
This graph was taken from the APS website compare them both and you'll have your answer both done with 9.5psi.Cheers S&S.

I'm sure it is quite simple to work out how much cooling piping will cost, as well as exhaust and intercooler itself. Thats like asking how long is a piece of string. If you went to ARE intercooling and had them fit a 109mm cooler and do all the piping, then went to CES and had them do a full stainless exhaust it might cost you anywhere up to 7 or 8 grand, if you went to the local exhaust shop and had them do the whole lot in mild steel, uncoated, with a $170 front mount intercooler, it might cost you 3 grand. If you did all the pipework and exhaust yourself and used a $170 intercooler, it might cost you $1500.
I don't care if anyone is "Bagging" my kit becuase its not complete, the problem with these d ickheads is I guess they still expect the kit to be 6 grand and include cooler, piping, dumps, etc, where does it end?? I build turbo manifold and kits, not cooler piping and dump pipes. If they want to spend the 12-15g that most of the other kits cost then I'm sure they can finish the fuel system, cooler pipes and tune for less than another 9 grand.
The only other kit on teh market that is almost similar in price uses $500 plain bearing turbo's, generic 75mm thick intercooler, stock exhaust manifolds and a single intank pump. I think its a great kit, don't get me wrong, but you have to compare the contents of what you want to pay and what you are getting and make the decision for yourself which path you'd like to go.
Nice curve there brett, and very nice early boost curve:o) Now get that thing on a DD dyno in shootout mode so we have some real comparisons.
