The thing i HATE about wagons is them roof lumps.. has anyone done anything with them? i remember on a VN some one put another sheet of steel over them and molded it in but you could still see the one big lump then
anyone?
i use to live in karratha wa, and travel 40km's day and night between towns. theres lots of roos between the roads. I live in perth at the moment, and took it off, as i did alot of city driving. but now im moving the albany, and i'm gonna be driving up and down alot between perth and albany for a few months, and feel safe with a bar on there . yeah, i know i've got the plates, but i do alot of driving to make an insane wagon for hwy driving (stupid police)
besides, even if its not roo's, its the bad drivers down here. i have nbo bar, and lot of people pull out in front. I have bar on, and only 1 in every 10 cars will pull out in front of me =D

NICE!!!
Just looking under the bonnet is enough to impress me.
My wagon decided to not start again anymore. drove to the post office, turned off fine, went back to the car, and just wouldnt start up. this has happened every june i've owned the car, accept last year, dunno why. luckly there was an auto sparky i knew accross the road who helped me out. he gave the CAS a cleanup, and it started... yay! so after work i went back, payed him for his time, started the car... nope. wouldnt start. we we pulled the CAS apart again put it back together, started. this is annoying becuase the CAS is 2 years old (yeah, replaced it last time it happened).
Since we got it started, drove it home, parked in the shed, 30 seconds into the turbo timer. stopped, and wont start.
So now its off the road, and since im now in a house that im not moving out of for a few years, its time to strip it down, regardless how much it pisses the missus off.
Plans:Engine Work (could be complete overhaul)
Front End (The panel shop that did the front end didnt straighten it)
Power Steering (because the last place i took it to didnt fix it)
Rust around Rear and Front Windows (Remove it, not add it)
Remove Dash (Creaks a lil bit, plus i need a heater, anyone got one?)
Lower it (the 17's make it look like a 4wd)
And probly more.
Why do this? because I can
Oh, and WA CT drivers, avoid midas morley, i've had nothing but problems since taking my car to them.
