just crank your car up more and take it back out and set the goal posts further ahead or make a time say within the next month to both get there together go head to head.

08-04-12, 16:26 GMT+10#309 back from holidays.. LOL at this thread!!
my life has a few more important things than a car at the moment....
i will definitely race the car when i can..
to compare me to RH9 is pretty pathetic as the thing has done 30+ passes over a few years and obviously gets it down the track...
i will however, come out soft and turn the wick up.. so when i am ready, be sure im in the other lane to **** the GTR scene up... whether i do or not is a different story but for now i dont have cash to try to compete so i wont...
for now.. il drive it around like the soft **** that i am...
feel free to set the bar higher and higher mate...

I remember when Maatouks first rolled onto the scene and everyone (myself included) were very sceptical about their promises. They are the only VL Turbo specific workshop to back up anything they have publicly stated in the last 5 years.
A lot of the Victorian workshop "supporters / customers" say a lot on their behalf but let's face it, JPC and Rajab haven't hit the track with anything substantial for a long time. Do they care about CT's opinion? Do they need the business? Probably not. Probably because of the 4 x 4 business they do and other mechanical income.
Maatouk's have been consistent with pushing the envelope year after year for a long time now. Rajab and JPC have had their time and in my opinion are content with their lot, the don't NEED to push the envelope because of their history.
They have built a good reliable business that has obviously lasted where as Bresciani and lesser workshops (what was the name of that place Dixie and Hamjet had their cars at? How could I Forget!) have fallen by the wayside.
Well said mate and I totally agree with you 100%. They (JPC and Rajab) have forged a great reputation which brings them in great business. They were at the forefront of racing for many years. But to slate off others who have managed to reach (and break) targets and goals which were deemed impossible at one point, well that's just uncalled for. Give credit where its due, these Sydney boys decimated the competition and I for one would love to see the Rajab Race car or a few more quick cars out there joining Daniel Camilleri back out and racing.

Unfortunately that is human nature..... Ego can be something that drives us to strive for the impossible and say the stupid. The VL Turbo scene is waning compared to 2003-2007.
And that is not always a bad thing.

dont blame the track!!! Its fine, get your cars sorted!
