how much the engineers report cost you? And what did it consist of exactly? Did it cover emissions?

no emissions weren't a problem, cos the exhaust didn't need a cat. it was pretty expensive, but still worth it since i never got defected

when you say expensive how much is that lol I possibly have to get one soon and ive heard some bad stories about getting that report

why everytime ya see a cop worry about defect unless ya scared of gettin pulled over why are ya gonna get pulled over if ya not doing anything wrong just dont be stupid in ya car and ya wont get targeted its as easy as that. well it was a couple grand on top of the mods, but that was cheaper as the engineer was a mate, and he did the engine mods as well... there are some sharks out there who won't fill out the report fully or will charge way too much but generally most are alright

You know that cops dont need a reason to pull you over anymore? They used to have to witness you cominting a traffic offence first

seriously... its not that easy to be regency approved... aftermarket ecu.. bigger turbo... external wastegate... boost controllers... bov's... top or low mount extractors... anything that vents to the atmosphere... i.e some oil catch cans... all that sorta stuff you will get defected for! if you want any sort of decent power you need all that stuff, so its not as easy for us.. were not trying to discriminate here dude... its just the whole point of we want to cruise with what we know/like and love... if that means 5 or 10 cars so be it, i know you prob love your rck cruises and thats great! but we like to keep to ourselves... well most of the time :P

haha, nah i dont actually do burnouts with the car. and the air cleaner isn't a modified piece, the vp came out with cold air induction. the alteration of air filter is legal, and the air box is a holden standard part (not a home hacksaw job) be it an SS part. if it were on a car without cai as optional or standard yes it would be defectable, but mine is a-ok
