I haven't noticed much of a performance increase, it does seem to run smoother now. I haven't got extractors, just standard exhaust manifold so it's not too loud but has a nice note to it. And yeah I'll get that door done one day :P Probably when I take it in to get the rust repaired around the windscreen and the roof resprayed. And look out, he means business now. I took it down to my favourite photo spot just then, pretty pleased with the pics I got. It'd be nice to get a few VLs down there one afternoon and get some group shots.
