had some good news today had the windscreen pulled out because of the leak. i was expecting alot of rust but turns out theres only a tiny little bit of surface rust which has been fixed tonight. right across the bottom of the windscreen wasnt even sealed properly. so yeah the windscreen will be going back in tomorrow so should be all good to go for the drags on the 25th

ok guys time for an update been busy this weekend getting the car ready to paint the inside of the doors which has now turned into getting it ready to paint the whole thing .was planing on just painting the inside of the doors as im gana do it at home in the garage like how the engine bay was painted and the outside will be profesionaly painted. after striping down the doors and removing all the trim and chrome pieces i thought i might aswell take it off the road for a little while and get the whole car painted. so anyway ive sanded back the left two inner doors and will hopefully do the right side during the week after work . hopefully all going to plan the following week ill have some paint on the inner doors aswell as doing all the black around the doors. then it will be off to the paint shop to get the outside painted. anyway heres a couple of pics i took tonight. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

hey man, got a few questions for you about certs seeing as you went through the process recently; whats a cert worth these days? what happens if you fail - is it the same as a wof? (go back again once things are fixed - no charge) how long does it take? do you need to be warrented and regoed? any idea if you could get a cert without a front bumper attached (don't think i can get my car on a trailer with the spoiler attached) Cheers

Cheers guys. Not sure where I'm going yet, may go to Tokoroa as it's about the same distance to Hamilton from my olds place. I was thinking about taking the bumper along - it's just a group A one, but I don't think i'll be able to get on a car trailer without damaging it. Time to make some calls I think.
