The bottle next to the radiator is the reservoir for my power steering. Window washer bottle? Non-comprende friend! Thinking of shaving all that **** off... The power cable runs under the car, not through it. It leaves the boot through the boot floor and follows the chassis rail to the front of the car where it's attached to the starter motor. Anything that needs battery power is in turn connected to the starter. Hard to explain but once you get your head around it it works pretty well Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

We can have the side moulds glued on and the stickers applied and it would look a lot more like a car, but we've decided to take a few steps backwards in order to go forwards. Long story so I won't post it up here, but it's going back to 2SUS for a while Quote: Originally Posted by MRKING liam that line running around your strut tower is killer your hair styles you really need to jazz it I know man The engine will no doubt be out again, maybe even before the end of the year. If that's the case then I'll get Bas to redo the bay this time and do all the stuff I should have done the first time around - box the rails, shave the radiator support panel, shave the firewall of the heater hoses...that kinda stuff Quote: Originally Posted by patch so no overflow bottle? when this car is out cruising i may have to have a little peak at how all the wiring and shiz was done Nah man, no overflows. Think I'll run with a staino item for the radiator, but like I said I'm trying to do away with the washers all together so no point in keeping water for them! I'll let you know where the car is going to be and when. You're more than welcome to have a look over it Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

There'll be plenty of time to hide all that stuff again later in the year Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Took this thing for a drive on Sunday, woot! Drives amazingly. The HKS twin plate drives like a stocker, the power delivery is so smooth, the motor sounds really strong, and for those interested, yes it doses! Only took it for a little baby lap, half an hour or so to go get some fuel (it's not really complete and my state of licensing is questionable at the moment, so I didn't want to draw too much attention!) but we came back all clear - no funky noises, no fluid leaks, no fires...all was good! Geed up to finish it off now!

Looking good. I always hate the first drive... there's usually a fire or something breaks. I found that I only had 1st gear about 80 metres down the road! Did you get it on the dyno? What power did it make?

I got to the servo which is about ten minutes from my house, so long enough for something to go wrong, and to my amazement the bay was still spotless! Not even any blow-by which I like in an engine! We don't talk about the dyno figure. It's running and for the moment that's enough for me!

I'd love to be making upwards of 220rw. As I said, we're having a few trivial issues with the set up at the moment that are hampering us in the rwkW department, but give it a few weeks and we'll have them sorted Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
