I get my methanol through my work but i have bought it at a Mobil fuel depot. Mobil ask a bit to much for it, around $60 for 20ltrs. I get 50ltr drums of the good Elf shit for $60.

and you mix it 50/50 for injecting? didnt think meth and water would mix...

If you can drive you should be able to **** in low 12's with that gear if not better. Cam break in is really a 20 min running time at a constant 2000rpm. Generally once you have done that, you can start getting into it!

i dont want to get disappointed.. and mainly just want to beat a time set by a family member... and want to see how far this stock bottom end will go, Then ill go forged hicomp. Oh and its manual so that will kill my times (or box), going for a JDTransmissions built auto, full manual once i get some money.

How did the fuel pump like the water? Have you got a CDI? Water is better for small quantity's, methanol needs to be part of the overall fuel supply to match it. EG with a single jet, dedicated water pump etc CDI, then water probally best but methanol will shine if it is supplied as part of the fuel system, multiple injectors as qik six uses and you basically have to pull fuel out of your fuel map, to make up for the methanol you are injecting as its a fuel source aswell. Should do a write up qik six, it is outside the square for most people(in australia anyway). cheers darren cheers darren

Back on page 2 of this thread i listed what i had, only difference now is i have a microtech and some GTR injectors for the unleaded. Dalton Automotive in geelong tuned my pig, he has got a real good understanding of methanol and is willing to **** around with my setup. And he doesn't charge like a wounded bull.

It wont come down by much but im sure it'll come down a bit more than wat i ran wednesday night. Sometimes i give it a rev after the burnout to clear the plugs.. but wats with the hard on the brakes thing ?? when u say off the foorbrake. do u use the handbrake also? wat time and mph did u run.?. cause when i do mine, i rekon it'll be a 10.98@122mph :P cant race tonight cause im working. but hopully week after next i'll be back out to do it.

Crow make them, i woudn't class them as a big cam, after the stage 2 they are solid cams and the sizes venture into the larger side. cheers darren
