Update guys.
I finally took the ZUT ZUT out to WSID to take it down the quarter mile. It was only running 12 psi at the time but i managed to get a 13.4 at 99mph which i was quitr happy with considering the power it had. The plan is to take it to maatouks to up the boost to 16 and aim for mid 12's.
I also entered the burnout competition while at WSID. This was one of the most nerve racking things i have ever done. Things didnt get easy for me, with the first car in front absolutely demolishing the pad before me. However, I did get out there and give it a shot, although it wasnt the best burnout, it was a hell of a lot of fun.
Ill upload pics and videos in a few days for you all
hey patch,
my mate was before you, banged the wall...lol
good effort on the burnout man that pad is soooo sticky...., i just chucked a vid up in the vl turbo section coz i wasnt sure who's car it was.

lil update:
Ever since i took the car out to WSID it wasnt driving properly and had a constant miss from 4000rpm upwards.
So after a week or two I was checking the spark plug to find that on No. 3 Cyl, the spark plug top had just dissappeared. So I put in a new spark plug and all was good, or so it would seem.
It drove fine for a few days but then was getting really cranky to start and would still have a miss every now and then so once again i examined the plugs to find them completely fouled up. So i recleaned them and the problem of cranky starting and fouling plugs remained so I gave Anthony Maatouk a call to try and sort the problem.
I went down the workshop and we discovered the coil had pretty much shat itself so it was replaced with a brand new Bosch one, new plugs were installed, Penrite oil fed into the motor along with a bottle of engine flush and dyno tuned to check all was good.
The motor was boosted to 17 pound however only made 205rwkw which anth reckons is due to the new gearbox robbing power from the engine but i am still pleased with the way the cars running and feeling.
I also today purchased a Meguiars clay bar kit. After doing the two doors on the drivers side the results are amazing and the paint is super smooth.
So fingers crossed guys that the car continues to run well
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
Update time:
After weeks and weeks of the car having a slight miss on take off and big misses from 10psi onwards, i decided to do some problem diagnosis.
After knowing that my spark was all in brand new working order and the airflow into the engine was schmicko, it was deduced that it must be fuel related.
So after a trip to supercheap and sitting an hour and a half in traffic I returned home to install my newly purchased fuel filter. After the mandatory drowning in fuel during the process of changing it, I started the car up and away I went.
Straight away, the car idled like a dream, had completely no miss on take off and most importantly was cracking the gate harder than a lad with a trolley pole.
So I'm pretty happy with ZUTUTU's new on road behaviour. So let's just hope the dirty s1ut behaves itself from now on
Dude, if you put stockies on, do you stay at minimum height? Just about to order springs for my beast, and Ultra Lows are in my sights
