Haha I'll post the issues, I'm not embarrassed about them. Having to unstrap my car from the Maatouks dyno as it tore the house down with it's bismal undisclosed power figure is what embarrasses me! We believe the issue stems from the design of the KKR turbo. I'm sure Jack can shed a little more light on the specifics as he spoke to a workshop that deals with them quite a bit, but in 25 words or less, the position of the internal wastegate necessitates a split pulse dump pipe - a fact that we learnt the hard way. The standard, conventional, 3.5in dump pipe that we've had fabricated is causing turbulence which in turn is causing boost control issues as the wastegate is trying to open but meeting opposition and as such doesn't know whether it's coming or going! As you can imagine, this is f*cking with our program when it comes time to tune the thing! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Certainly not anything indicative of the calibre of the parts, or the money spent!

You're right, I could get hung up on this or I could just pull out of my driveway tonight and dump the clutch at 5 grand! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

LOL i went from the old chev cos i needed the money, but this motor will make more power, smaller stall etc. Sounds better too It's not just a stock injected 5L minus the injection anymore Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

its nothing outrageous but it will make for good cruising. That old chev was thirsty, ran hot and was underpowered! Im not touching this motor too much in anticipation of what comes next Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Damn you, Alex! Thanks for the props, patch. Spewing I didn't see yours on the day, am keen to see it all put back together! have to fix the gearbox now after the drive home from the cruise, do a few more things to the bay, get my Berlina pinstripe on and a few other medial things, but the hardest stuff is out of the way Was good to have it back out after so long!
