What do you mean by that Tim? You were encouraging swapping actuators because you didn't realise I was going to be running an intercooler? I am aiming to run an intercooler, just have to find one I like first, then wait on it which will be a little bit of time I guess. I am real keen to get the car going now, like maybe next week if I get this head back and put on the car. Over driving my brothers vl.
Dean don't worry about coming around to pick up that head, because it's not here. Matt came and got it the other afternoon/night and was taking it over then. Thanks anyway.
Jason.

Too easy, what a pity that head end up costing so much, at least its done I guess... sorry i've been to busy to help, im sure your uni load is starting to get pretty big aswell, we are getting towards the business end of the semester, and im still alittle behind in most of my stuff, neways enough sooking from me.
Just buy a 150 dollar cooler, and get gerrard to do your piping, it won't take long and it will be legit as anything you will get off the net.

Yeah Dean it is costing a bit but atleast it's going to be legit I reckon. Those are my thoughts anyway. Hopefully Matt can clear sometime this weekend and come around to bolt it back on.
As far as intercooler is going, lol I dunno what I'll do. Tim I might change that actuator with you. Is it much of a pain in the ass job? Because I want to know if it's realistic to swap them over now, then swap them back in a months time when I'll have an intercooler hopefully.

Thats what I ment. I though you were going to have the engine running soon with the turbo on but without a cooler. I know you are going to have one eventually but you don't want to run in a new head gasket at 10 psi. You are using a compression dropping head gasket though aren't you. Dentonation will still be pretty close to 10 psi.
They are two bolts and a split pin to swap over. Yours is easy cause it's not on the engine but not that hard of a job anyway. Up to you man.
Thinking about taking the car out to next weekends drag. I'll be working the next 4 weeks if I don't.

Yeah Tim I think I will swap with you, if it's not to hard to swap back in a month - two's time? Because funds aren't looking up at the moment (with all these stupid public holidays I can't work as much) and an intercooler will be a little while off. Tell me a time when you are happy for me to come around and do the swap and have a bit of a chat.
I went and picked up that head today, doesn't even look like the same head. It is soooo clean! Thanks Campy and Matt for organising it. Also went and got a disc brake setup off Steve, he reckon's there's everything there I need so thanks for that to Steve. This is really starting to look well. Just need to grab them vlt injectors and gear off of that Lew bloke, then I'm set.
Jason.
