So Paul have you tuned more power into your car to get 130mph? When i spoke to you at calder you had been through several convertors to get it up to 126mph, is your success from more power or the right convertor?
Seems like your car is realy coming together considering your carrying a steel cage and leather seats now!
Congrats.
no more boost, no more power just getting the car sorted out now. Convertor has made a big difference and a much better prepped track has helped heaps too
The car is around 100KG's heavier then a normal wieght calais...

WHOA! Too much bull**** in this thread! WTF!
Back on topic, awesome car mate, just a quick question, how does your car go in regard to LPG backfires? have you ever had any issues like that and whats it like in regards to quickly stabbing the throttle as i heard gas research throttle bodies dont like it when that happens much?
all the best, John
Thats awesome to hear, ive just heard that with a gra carby they tend to be a bit how ya going if you quickly accellorate them? The reason I ask these random questions is im building a very similiar setup and im trying to get feedback from people who have actually been there and done it with gas as it easier that way then trying to decifer all the mixed opinions on gas and how effective they work and at the same tme im learning which also helps me out when it comes crunch time for a shop to do the parts i cannot.
Cheers!
