My brother has a truck with a crane on it at his work and has pulling out and dropping in RB30s down to a fine art, this will be our third time doing it. Thoughts? Would some JB Weld do the trick? I can still bleed the cooling system via the top bolt fully?

Quick question, how much non interferance is the RB30 stock?, ie when the valves are open to max and the piston is at TDC, how much room have you got before a mess is made? Rhys

^^I was thinking that but thought best not to say it. lets hope he doesnt try to replace brake pads next. ***" I couldn't get the new pads to fit in so i had to grind the piston down so it was a smaller size"***

its not the brake pads that concerns me because to do that he would have to work out how to remove the wheels its the actual driving of any car that worry's me lol.....but to do that he'd have to work out how to unlock the door.....but then again he'd have to work out how to pick up the keys off the table....but then again I suppose he'd also have to work out how to get out of the bed in the morning....that's if he knew how to go to bed the night before................................lol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

If a turbo has provisions for being Oil & Water cooled..... Would it matter to only have it oil cooled?

Depends on the turbo. Most dual ball bearing turbos only require oil cooling. Can anyone add to this??
