From another person on his site but he isnt replying. he wants 295 Delivered for them, Can you do a similar setup?
Leigh,
The catch an was a real pain in the behind to fit with my plenum set up. I thought they would be the same size as the charcoal cannister but there is a fair bit of size difference:
To get it to fit I had to remove the fuel regulator, breather lines, have someone under the car to hold the fuel lines down (Due to lack of room) and also remove the overflow bottle.
I'm really happy with the product, I think the positioning is a great idea but it could easily be made smaller to fit into the stock position better. Also It fits in loosely due to the size. To hold it in I am using the stock springs cut down and modified into 1 spring. It's pretty loose, would you reccomend anything else for support? Will it move when it has weight in it?
Here it is in:
I did scratch it a little bit getting it in there, I should have taken some pics to show how much room I didn't have. Would be good to see a smaller version of it produced.
Thanks

well ive made them as big as i could so they work the best they can.
there is 2 ways you can get them to fit.
1. remove the inlet manifold, its only an hours work tops.
2. jack up the engine and feed it in from the front.
all pms have been replied to guys
leigh I not happy with you either! you better make your way up Friday the 18th of jan be at wsid at 5pm and crew for me got a pit pass for you so get your ass up here!!do you like you door moulds on my car lol!!
I can remember one of your first manifolds you made, it was a lowmount for your 25/30, I thought your workmanship was good then. But the ones you make today are even better and by far the best locally.
I'll be hitting you up for a low mount for a 25/30 with GT35R .86 in a R32 in the near future.
Cheers.
Jaws.
hey how ya going leigh?
its james with the green 2j vl, and im wondering if i could bring the manifold and everything in to get a screamer pipe made up to dump in the exhaust??
thanx
it creates a low pressure zone directly after the turbine, and that means that the gasses move through the turbine faster.
it helps with spool time, and peak power.
