Yeh like ****... should just do what we did back in old days when we had a vic/ s.a ct meet at a heathcote street meet. What if we held this in QLD , who would still travel? Warwick Dragway 1/8th mile event, we could have a 2 day event ? And you can run up to 120mph on the 1/8th mile without roll Cage.

Calder Park would be killer for the next VLT Nats

Nothing wrong with 1/8th mile, doesn't take any less skill/setup then 1/4 if anything requires more.

Heads up racing it very competitive, if you bugger the start, you will have a hard time chasing them down due to the length of the track. My car was running a conservative 10.4@140 at healthcote and I was struggling against 13 second cars on the 8th just due to their consistent reactions/times. But I believe most 8ths are now ANDRA sanctioned too.
