Thanks Darren & Luke. Mattlads...."based on the street version" - how about using that 8 years of reading to design 7 manifolds before you are happy with one, flow test them all, and then see how you go. You arent the first to copy or to use mine as a base. I just had another Vic workshop 3 weeks ago ask me for measurements of my Street version plenums.... Don't worry, this isn't the first time that mine have been copied and sold on and certainly wont be the last. I have considered casting but it isnt worth due to the lack of flexibility hence the full cnc plenums. I know for a fact that the cast plenums offered by other companies costs from as little a $150 per plenum and are then charged at approx 1000. That doesnt even cover the material cost of my street version plenums, let alone, the machining, welding, blasting etc etc that is involved and mine sell for 990 delivered anywhere in Oz. Morgz, how do you know it is not a restriction? Jamming more boost to make power doesnt mean it is not restricted. I will bet my left testicle that if I put one of my manifolds on any car utilisiing the standard top half, albiet modified, they will make the more power at the same boost.....GUARANTEED. I recently seen a drop of 10psi to make the same power on a car with a cylinder head and intake manifold change. That is a measure of the restriction that is no longer there.

Hey Deano, just stating facts...or maybe shutdown threads where someone is trying to advertise (which used to happen to me), 1st thing, and then advertise products, 2nd thing, which are copied from a supporter, contributor and advertiser of this site for approx 15 years or copied from anyone for that matter

You obviously dont fabricate intake manifolds because the materials are approximately 3 times that. Ill let you know the process they go through and let me know how long this will take you: clean runners remove brackets and threaded bosses etc no longer needed standblast runners mill runner and radiator hose face pick up bellmouths mark, cut, engrave & press plenum mark, cut & bend plenum base mark & drill plenum base to suit bellmouths machine down bellmouths to length match port runners to plenum base clean runners ready for welding fuse bellmouths to base weld plenum base to runners make plenum back plate, vacuum plate, throttle body flange and side plate prep above for welding let me know how long that will take you, put a price on it and then make it to my standard and let me know how much you will charge? ---------- Post added 29-09-15 at 19:56 ---------- Not to mention the R&D to get them to a point good enough for you to copy

No one bothers with cast anymore. It's takes too much time and time is money. If your just joe blow and don't want to pay for someone $500 manifold thus taking up this gig, you'll waste your own time and money. Just get yourself a vlt or na manifold get and welder to cut and shut then polish it. Why do you think people hate Chinese exhaust manifolds, cause **** inside breaks and then ruins turbos. U don't have that issue with 6 boost manifolds. Just an example but you get what I mean. If you have your heart set on this, draw up a few pics on CAD and show us we vote, you build, we buy.

Sending the place a CPC plenum to use as a starting point is a bit more than a "rough idea" A rough idea would be some pictures / sketches / CAD drawings I can see where you are coming from mate having bought a couple of early versions of various plenums myself and you're right sometimes the quality just doesn't stack up, even the polished versions look quite rough for the price you are paying Which is why I sold them and got myself a better one And I can see why you would want to make an entry level cast version which would reflect the lower price but be good enough for some people I don't agree with copying other people's items though, it wouldn't be hard to make a design yourself from scratch

I have a cast rajab I love it I think unless ur doing 9s and under anything will work with enough boost lol and I've seen a few mates that had dramas using stock runners with leaning out 1 cylinder ect and opted for a cpc plenum or similar, and when uve spent 7k on a motor what's $1000 on a plenum lol

Look at VLGOD for example, from what I heard they felt the only plenum that offered performance benefits other than a factory converted to front facing, was a Hypertune. I'm happy with mine, wouldn't buy anything else.

ok quick update on progress. there were some set backs with them having to cast it as there was alot of different holes and would have required me to pay $5000 u.s to get a mould made up and a special grinding bit for there machine to clean up the insides because of all detailed shapes inside. i decided this was to expensive because i dont plan on selling hundreds to cover this cost, also alot of people disliked the idea of cast. so im going to get a plenum welded up from scratch instead

Dont get me wrong, i have cast manifold cut and shut, works a treat.. but to build a full cast top half from scratch.. bit over the top for me. $20 full manifold, $150 cut and shut and away i go..

Hey guys Yeah it is just about to begin being produced . there were a lot of delays due to them having Christmas and new years break and it took them a while to be able to replicate the radiator outlet on the flange . here is the last design drawing I have . The rear will end at the redline instead of overhanging. ---------- Post added 21-03-16 at 21:12 ---------- The factory radiator hose should just fit without hitting the cooler piping I know it looks close in diagram

So after ripping off the design from here and claiming you'll get them cast for cheaper, and now realising it will cost you too much, your going to get them fab'd up overseas with far less quality, your going to advertise right here where you ripped the design from..no shame mate ****ing hell.
