Sly - seriously dude all the cars you mentioned were iconic and I spent half my days at trade school looking at magazine articles on em lol post the pics!!
PANNIC sums it all up for the vl scene - prob the most known car for the time and now it's been apparently sold 5 times, missing driveline, missing the plates etc etc such a shame

13-03-14, 20:39 GMT+10#23 What is the street scene for the turbos like these days in Melbourne?
When I lived there in 2001, it was vl turbo town hard core and I loved it.
Melbourne in my opinion still holds some foundation.

The scene is still alive to a point I was out on the night before the public holiday and lots of tuff cars out. But it's all very hide and seek now meeting in small groups in car parks that are that dark you don't know who's there lol.
I miss the days you drive down beach rd and the were cars parked up from from st kilda bp to station pier and the police didn't worry or hassle anyone

16-03-14, 20:25 GMT+10#26 love this thread...anyone remember PANNIC and XCHSER going head to head back in the day. Some great footage.
Also the old red P plates where u could drive a vl because of the power to weight ratio. If only we could go back...
Keep the pics coming.

17-03-14, 22:04 GMT+10#39 Pannic is long gone. Ive seen aprox 3 different vl's from memory on eBay being sold as rollers claiming to be Pannic. Lol
All the PET cars were classics! Wish Dennis was still had the doors open. Would have the VIC scene going strong.
That LE's Vas JPC's old car. Then it went to three other owners after him. Apparently the current owners giving it a complete freshen up at the moment. When i get a chance ill see if my old laptop from back in those days will turn on. I got plenty of prime time cars on there.
By the way Chris. Top idea for a thread mate!

Someone needs to put up a photo of PSI03T? It was a red calais.
Also there was a blue calais from syd/wollongong area that use to cruise with him. Had a hole cutout in the bonnet for the plenum if i remember correctly. Cant remember the number plate though...
This thread is pure gold!
What did that calais run INFLYT?
