I guess we will see :) G-Cylinder is the name of the product made by Kenichi Hashimoto, Osaka Japan. ---------- Post added 25-11-13 at 20:15 ---------- Also thanks to everyone who stopped by at the vl turbo nationals this weekend. Was great to be a sponsor of the event.

We drove our Calais from Melbourne to Adelaide and was on display at the VL turbo nationals. We just got the car back to Perth from the Vl Turbo Nationals today. We will be doing dyno testing early in January. Here are some photos of the trip and the event. I acknowledge the effort you've gone to in order to demonstrate the efficacy of your product however the UWA testing appears so brief and limited in scope and method as to be pointless. I don't believe you've helped your cause other than showing that you are at least somewhat willing to submit to scientific study. That puts you ahead of most other snake oil salesman out there.

Well it's a start, thanks, We've brought this technology to the market place as no risk offering, and further testing will be published. We are happy with constructive truthful data. I understand skepticism and only believe in point of proof trials myself. My technology and information source is through our reputable Japanese partners, Itochu and B-Tec Co, they have experience in water treatment, agriculture, electronics, chemicals, glass technology and nano technology. Testing of industrial PCM units are underway also the PCRS models for the Prime Movers are being sold already. The data our Japanese partner has compiled form the Maritime vessels are report combustion efficiency of up to 38%, so we are aiming for the same data replicated here in Australia. I did have some more recent feed back from one of our customers how installed a 3 x G-Cylinder set up on their TD42 Nissan Patrol. I have seen the specs but he reports a noticible difference in acceleration and about 12% better economy. I've requested some more details from him to share. Have any of the tests been blinded?

There's an important test going on now that's giving me white nuckles and no finger nails, they are testing 2 large units on two 570Hp Caterpillar engines. While the trial is for 6 months it's in 100% in the hands of the customer, who is very interested but also needs to complete their own due diligence. ---------- Post added 10-12-13 at 10:53 ---------- (http://s911.photobucket.com/user/jamesglaskin/media/IMG_5197_zpse62fd071.jpg.html) (http://s911.photobucket.com/user/jamesglaskin/media/IMG_5198_zps6cd64002.jpg.html) (http://s911.photobucket.com/user/jamesglaskin/media/IMG_5202_zpsfc065e42.jpg.html) (http://s911.photobucket.com/user/jamesglaskin/media/IMG_5185_zpscc04402b.jpg.html) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

G Cylinder - OPERATIONAL FIELD TRIAL. Executive Summary; A field trial comparing performance of a standard 2004 Nissan Patrol during a 5000km outback tour was carried out in November 2013. The fully laden vehicle, towing a camper van, returned an 15% improvement in fuel consumption when fitted with the G Cylinder. Vehicle description: 2004 Nissan Patrol 4x4 series 3 GU ute Engine , 4.2 TD [6 cylinder diesel] includes an Aluminum canopy fitted out for independent off-road touring incl extra spare tyres. 210 Litres fuel, 100 Litres of water and sundry camping equipment. Laden weight: 3260Kg The vehicle engine is in good condition , is regularly serviced [oil change every 5000 km] and tuned, and has accumulated 225873km. For this trial the vehicle was towing a Track T van off road camper with an aggregate weight of 1156 Kg. Test: Prior to the trial the Nissan had been dynometer tuned for a mid-range setting to achieve a balance between best power and economy. The turbo was set a 9.6 lbs boost. The same tune settings had been used for the comparison trip before G Cylinders were fitted. Both with and without trips comprised of similar activities spread over about 5 to 6 weeks of camping/touring in Central Australia and Midwest West Australia encountering sealed and unsealed roads, tracks and 4x4 off-road travel. The prime purpose of the trial was to assess the influence of the G Cylinder on fuel consumption under Field conditions. In the absence of sophisticated measurement equipment there was a secondary objective to observe for anecdotal evidence of other impacts on vehicle performance. The G Cylinder trip covered 4500 Km with approximately 35% on sealed roads and 65% on unsealed roads. The unsealed journey comprised 1206 Km in 4x4 High range and 432 Km in 4x4 Low range. G Cylinder 3 x domestic vehicle G Cylinders were fitted in series around the fuel induction line between the fuel filter and the injector pump. See photo 1. The cylinders were grounded to a common Earth on the vehicle body. (http://s911.photobucket.com/user/jamesglaskin/media/IMG_5053_zps60e47d37.jpg.html) Photo 1 Trip details: Travel without G Cylinder [Sept/Oct 2012] Travel with G Cylinder fitted [Sept/Oct 2013] Km travelled Fuel consumed Consumption Km travelled Fuel consumed Consumption 6202.6km 911.78 Litres 14.70 L/100Km 4533.5Km 566.23 Litres 12.49 L/100Km 12.49 L/100Km represent a 15.51 percentage improvement in fuel consumption. Conclusion: Fuel consumption in the field trial was calculated at an improvement of 15.51% over that experienced without the G Cylinder. The engine in this vehicle has always provided consistently good levels of torque and power in Off-road performance. The driver was did not observe ant deficit in these characteristics but was unable to assess any appreciable increase in performance. There was a noticeable drop in levels of black exhaust plume [normally observed under power] during the latter half of the trip. This may be indicative of a drop in exhaust particulate. While there is an obvious improvement shown in fuel consumption, changes in other performance characteristics will need to be assessed with before and after dynometer measurement. Further field tests and test bed measurement is indicated. R A SELKIRK 14.12.2013. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
