I'm liking the progress on this mate, I'm pretty sure you can get replacement cowl panels if yours are too rotten, as its very common on vls

russ sees a boot full of junk and not the progression on rust repairs that the rest of us see. plus you will be stoked you took these photos when you are finished. i think maybe i shouldnt have modded mine but then somedays i look back at the photos and you can see all of the bad bits ive fixed up so it reaffirms that youre having fun with it.

Exactly man. The more pics the more detailed it is. Much better looking back and seeing every little tiny thing you did.
Take this for example, This is my build thread for my hq. Looking back a few times now it's awesome having so many pics.

So the front windsheild rust is all cut out and replaced so I spent today bogging it smooth. Came up really will. Few more rub backs and that section should be done.
Also, I pulled out the rear window to find it's almost as rooted as what the front windsheild was so I have since cut and plated it all just need to bog one section and that's HOPEFULLY all the rust done so I can get onto sanding the body!
Thanks all!

Hey guys,
Got the front few panels in primer while on the public holiday today. Hopefully have it all or most of it in primer by the end of the weekend.
Cheers!

Great work mate, you have done a great job! Would of been easier if you just cut the front section out and replaced it with a new one, but that doesn't matter now... This looks tops bloke!

Hey all.
As planned I got it all in primer with the help of the old man and a few mates. Will give it a rub next week then another coat of primer and hopefully wet sand and then paint it.
Thanks!
