01-05-13, 13:18 GMT+10#30 Bit like mine mate, but only thing is mine come out from factory with the LE front skirt and bobtail spoiler and grill, its full white too
i got it off an old lady that had it since new but with just over 200000ks on it, has the original mudflaps etc and not a drop of rust on it
got the screen replaced last week and i inspected underneath very well, not a specle of rust and no signs of a respray
i payed much lower than you though
PS, what colour is your interior? i have a grey dashmat if your interested, my interior is blue so doesnt reaaly suite

03-05-13, 09:41 GMT+10#31 Sounds like it may have been a LE. Any pics? If possible it's good to keep the factory screen for the side moulds. I paid for the kms probably.
Yeah mines cerulean blue inside too and I found a grey dash mat, suits not too bad thanks anyway.
If you want to throw me those rear mudflaps though

03-05-13, 12:55 GMT+10#32 dont think ill be letting go of the muddys mate, theyre like venetians haha
i was lucky enough to get some OEM side moulds for the screen so just makes it that little bit sexier when you start checking things out on it
Definately a keeper to me, id never sell it

best part is i can use my charger to charge all the batterys for my RC stuff when im out and have no problems of having a flat battery in the end

03-05-13, 20:45 GMT+10#35 Polished engine bay looks crap. It either stock and zinc plated or full on hiding wiring and chromed everything with a few painted things

Unless it was a LE it would not come like that from factory(skirt and bobtail)This would have been a dealer fitted item,They did this to upspec to sell them,But saying that just look after the old girl. And the bling under the bonnet is not my cup of tea,But if you like it that is all that matters!!
Cheers Marty

05-05-13, 16:33 GMT+10#39 yeah i was umming and arring over the whole shiny bits under bonnet scenario, all the stuff in my other hobby is all polished alloy so i thought meh what the hell why not
ill end up pulling most of the bits off and sending them away to get chromed and hiding all the wiring in the upcoming weeks once i get all my electric extras sorted, i dont wana be pulling off gaurds and dashes out then adding in something else and having to do it all over again.
Im guessing the alloys and LE bobtail and skirt are dealer fitted items, it has a peice of paper under the carpet which has them listed on there i think off memory so i dunno

08-05-13, 12:04 GMT+10#40 Yeah my simple theory is you can't beat factory on some cars. That is a fine battery though, you could power Africa with that.
