Neat!
Love the flattened side pipe look!
Legit ex NASCAR exhaust, just waiting on which car it was run on. Bit of fun trying to source mandrel 3.5 ovasl tube as its not used here.
thinking of bringing in a container of it as we have had fab shops and a couple of race teams approach us for qty.

Cage is coming out, not happy with it (was in car when we bought it).
Off to DS INDUSTRIES for a decent one.

this car after selling all the gear owed us nothing. Finding a vk shell with zero rust is too much effort.

Were off the Chile for a Drift invitational so i will post the latest pics when we get back. Car is close to first fire and dyno time.
Should be painted (DTPANELS) and fully fitted out with a DS INDUSTRIES cage within a fortnight.... the home stretch.

Yeah we took it to winton and did 2 x 30min track sessions to dial it in.
Car obviously has way to much power but we can just dial in more tyre as we come to grips with it.
Typical of commodores the front end is rubbish geometry wise...we didnt get it sorted first outing but we have come back modified it again to get 6.5 degrees of castor in it and it now feels great.
Power steering column had a bit of bind initially but it came up sweet with a few adjustments.
Im not happy with the sound so we will fit up supertrapp mufflers to the two external gates and go from there.

qiuck vid of it at winton, datalogger showed no more than 50% throttle used so i reckon with some better rubber we can use the power.
