$1.65 - $1.70+ is standard for 98 octain all year round in melbourne.

really wow...!! its roughly about 1.55 - 1.65 most of th time.. ---------- Post added 03-03-13 at 08:10 ---------- i was digging for something in the cupboard yesterday n i found a newspaper article that was wrapping something up so i pulled it out ... funny it had grocery specials on one said and article bout petrol on th other lol it stated that petrol had broken into the 80c per litre n that families were gonba b struggling with the rising costs.... LMFAO if only still was thst hsha.. was from 1983-4 i think n milk for 2L was 90.c... lol

Well in the early to mid 1990's, we used to drive from 10km out of mt.barker..down to modbury..go into town and go up and down anzacs from 10pm till 5am in the morning racing, go home to hills and it cost max $30-40..that was a expensive night lol..petrol was 60c a litre from memory..haha, usually $20 would do cheers darren
