I found the indy blues are no go, unless your using E85 & some decent boost.

Yeah^ I wouldn't use them unless on e85. No bigger than 1000's realistically. 750cc or tgere abouts would be good for your application IMO

Im looking at a set of rochester 750cc injectors. I think these will be fine for now. ---------- Post added 18-12-12 at 20:28 ---------- Ended up with a brand new set of Rochester 1000cc low impedance 14mm o ring injectors.

Still waiting on the 1000cc injectors to get here. Also Ive decided against using the cam that was in the head. I dont no the specs of it and the head shop where I got the work done said it was only a small cam. So open to suggestions on a cam that will work with my setup. Would love a lumpy idle too. Also how can I tell if the lifter blocks where machined for the cam that was in it? Im guessing it would of been a regrind.

Injectors turned up and had some spare time so got stuck into the vl. I pulled the injectors/rail/inlet plenum and cleaned the lifters Also found a nice rust hole under the battery. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I reckon it would look better with original MX grey bars n moulds.

Got a little time for the vlt today and started cleaning up the plenum welds. I also remove the bleed block, the new manifolds dont even have them. I think this was one of the first JD plenum's built. Also started to port match the runners to plenum and runners to head. I got back to work tomorrow so will only get a few hours a day to work on the car Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Been a while since a update, just been so dam busy working 10 hour days.. Got a chance on the weekend for some work on the old girl and got a good mate from Novas Auto Glass to come remove the windscreen for me. Id been dreading pulling the screen out since Ive owned the car and had nightmares of the amount of rust that may of been under there. But I was happily surprised to find it no all that bad, it was even the original factory screen. There are a few minor holds that will either weld up or fill with liquid steel. And old mate checking out the old screen lol Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Is the tx2 similar to jpc stage 3? Ive been spending a few hours in the afternoon after work sanding and grinding out the rust around the screen. On the weekend I plan on stripping the front nose cone, quarter panels, bonnet and silver trim over the roof. After I prep the windscreen surround and repair the engine bay im going to rub the roof down and blow a fresh coat of paint over the roof to the rear pillars and bonnet to freshen it up a little, the sides are ok for now, shes not going to be a show stopper after all.

Quarter panels are off and Ive got all the rust spots cleaned out and ready to repair. Im going to use liquid steel to fill the holes, then etch prime the bare metal spots and liquid steel repairs then blow primer over then acrylic lacquer red. How do you protected the underside of the windscreen area (under repairs)? I don't want it to come back any time soon. Also there was all this soft gray sealer stuff under the driver sides seam weld? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
