07-11-12, 19:45 GMT+10#22 Well guys it seems that the 7175 not be big enough the power and boost im willing to run,
Someone suggested the 7675,
Anyone used or or have a rough idea on spool time on a rb30

07-11-12, 20:29 GMT+10#23 Depends on your manifold, cam, SOHC or Twin cam, Compression, Displacement (3.2 or 3.4 stroker etc), tune and whether you use 2step, but it should theoretically spool faster than a GT42R since the rear wheel is smaller, and then youve got your housing sizes too.

07-11-12, 23:09 GMT+10#24 6boost manifold
26 head
274/278 cams
8:8:1 compression
2step yes (although it's in a r32 GTR for street)
Only rb30.

07-11-12, 23:11 GMT+10#25 Jet3lt gets full boost on a gt4202r at about 5000rpm,which if the 7675 spools up earlier I'd be very happy to put it on my car.
My car is also used as a street menace nothing else but will run it down the 1/4 every now and then.

08-11-12, 18:21 GMT+10#26 With that compression it should spool alright, im planning on running one that size on my RB30 SOHC with 7.8:1, manual.
Mine will probably be a laggy POS on the street but i'll just deal with it. Yours would be alot better being twin cam also.

09-11-12, 07:07 GMT+10#27 I'm still ummm and arghhh about the 7675,
Might just go 7175 and not be to greedy with power,
Will be pretty responsive and a better power ban through the rev range

21-11-12, 21:22 GMT+10#34 I still got quoted 2700 for a BB 7675 CEA with the GT42 compressror housing, dont know why its so much more expensive than the housing without the surge porting...
