Yeah but matching numbers is what counts in the future chadskee or dont boxes come with any more identification other than mx7 on vls?

I Spose it is a genuine berlina turbo wagon, buy its not a really sort after or rare car. Don't get me wrong, its an excellent car, just it's never going to claim Brock money or anything. If you're really worried just keep the old mx7 in your shed. I guarantee you'll never look back with a 33 box though.
