What about all the braided hose and fittings to plumb it all up? Tailshaft that won't noodle itself, Diff that won't implode, chassi work, suspension work, time on the dyno... You wait and see how much it costs.

I have been building this car for the last 10 years or so. I already have a 9 inch diff 31 spine axles with wavetrack diff centre. full hight/damping adjustable suspension. all the speed Flow fittings and braided lines. 6 Piston ap racing brakes front with 365mm 2 piece rotors and 4 piston ap racing rear with 343mm rotors. Have got a 3 inch tail shaft from final drive in perth. Also have all the fuel side of things. might just need to upgrade the magnafuel 1500 hp pump to a bigger one due to the e85.

WTF??? stroker kit, yeah, my next engine. Mains cap and girdle, dont waste your money. 6k is cheap for a good head go the hypertune inlet, it rocks PFFFFFT PPG can eat a fat one, go PAR and save 5k, talk to Mr Transmissions Leave the PWR cooler where you found it Exedy clutch is all you want to use Put a real ECU on it M and W is the sh1t RIPS racing bottom end 6k delivered head full of Tomie gear 10k ish including machine work Done Oh the dry sump, that will cost you to set up properly, but Ill keep my secrets to myslef on the rest of my setup costs. Also Brett, EAFDC, I have 800h/p cause race car.

Also, be a bit careful with the rev cut shifters, if you miss it by a little its good bye dog rings, Im not sure how much time you would save when you have to concentrate so much on sticking each shift perfectly. I know with mine its dog 1st-4th and syncro 5th, its second nature now and Ive done next to no laps in mine really. 3.4 stroker im very interested in, i was going to do it but couldnt warrent the cost after talking to Robby at RIPS

A rotor might beat me on the strip but not around a track.

Ill tell you now, his thing is a dead set track monster, one lap timed at eastern creek had his RX7 in 7th in class i think, and its much faster this year. It was over 10sec per lap faster than me, now Im by no means a good driver, and the car is far from at its best, but 10 sec is a bloody long way.

Ppg told me that i can't have syncro 5th. is your box straight cut or heli coil. ---------- Post added 22-05-12 at 21:47 ---------- Quote: Originally Posted by robp30l [View Post] Can't wait to see this car finished...all the best with it mate.
