Thing is with repainting, will cost me $2.5k with family prices, even to bare metal including interior, the engine is in the MUCH better cond than my current VL, and not planning on throwing rego for along time. this is simply a project car. wether rip off or bargin, atleast i have the peace of mind knowing its a granny car that prolly never done above 110kmph in the engines veryshort 58thousand km life. if i were to buy any other vl i would respray it anyways unless it walready was morphius purple (ve commodore 2007-2008 purple) which i highly doubt. you guys are right tho aslong as i am happy, and i am happy and i really do appreciate the feedback and the contructinve criticism. i will try get more pics up over the weekend or something, btw that crappy smoke lasted acouple minutes until the car warmed up, ive started the car afew more times and never has that type of smoke came out of the exhaust.

I dunno what prices a like over in the east for a VL Exec, but anything under a Grand here isn't too bad of a buy, especially if it runs. I think you have done well myself...
