I bought a part that was guaranteed not to be from the group buy. And it is
I bought a part that was guaranteed to be in working condition. It's not.
If I was the seller I would have refunded the money by now, because I'm a fair guy.

i hope jake pays u if thats the agreement u had , but in future if u buy second hand parts reguardless of new or used remember THERE IS NO WARRANTY , but in saying that this time u may of just had a bad experience as ive bought heaps of second hand parts off fourms and ebay etc but had 100% success but iam aware of the risks involed but thats not to say one day something is going to be faulty ...

24-05-12, 20:08 GMT+10#31 bt if i was buying somethingnew or second hand and was promised by the seller that it was in perfect working order then i would expect it to be in perfect working order. if it wasnt then i would be expecting a full refund as its the sellers responsibility to be totally honest with the buyer.
if the seller was to mention in the ad the item is in unknown condition and what you see is what you get and no returns then its up to the buyer and if he still buys it he bares all responsibility as he knew there was a chance it may not work.
a person advertising something in perfect working order and offering it will work or your money back only to reneg on it once it has been sold is a theif and con artist imo and is just out to rip people off to line his own pockets and im not saying that is the case here.
