I been going since the sandown days and this year was worse than last yr at winton. Next year im gonna save my self the $45 and **** off **** of a drive its just not worth it. If it was at sandown or calder yes but **** winton no chairs and its out in the middle of no were. Bob jane the fat old **** should run at least 2 events like this a year at calder and he would absolutely kill it

Sounds like it was more an entrants event.. sounds ok to me.

performance car mania in september is a real good event.

I went out all 3 days as a spectator and a few mates entered so I was on track to. For the first time at an event like this we actually got cruised out with the amount of time allocated was awesome. The main hate seemed to have been spectators but entrants seemed to enjoy it I had a good weekend but thats me, The police where taking it to far when I was leaving saturday they where mounting there Horses. Also if any one has any pictures of ITL-555 or the Red XD falcon "rough sleeper" throw them up Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Only problem I have is the ****ing police present ! If I wanted to get hassled by the cops I would keep it on the street and run the risks. Easternats you shouldn't have to stress about police reeming your ass. At 8.45am on Saturday I was pulled up by the police and they were trying to do me for unregistered, false plates etc all within the Winton raceway grounds ! The easternats rules states that unregistered cars are restricted to track access, pit access and access to the camping grounds aswell as the road between. They then wanted to take my plates off me as they didn't belong to that car. They had police and sheriffs at the entrance on friday doing rego check, defects and unpayed fines/bills etc. Then they were all over the camp site during the nights and on Sunday night, they decided to call in the cfa to put out everyones camp fires that werent in the drums... all weekend was a pity thanks to the police. I too agree that its worth the risk of driving your cars on the street because easternats isnt any different. I actually spoke to you on either saturday or sunday about your car, i was in the next camp spot with the yellow vl, turbo eb and the other cars. Nice meeting you, shame about your ute. cops shouldnt be allowed to do that. thats invasion of privacy. we had no probs at Performance car mania at winton with coppers.
