Plug gaps sound likely culprit here.

Plug gaps wouldnt cause an issue at 3psi though. Factory VLT's ran 7psi and plugs would just get thrown in without being regapped with no issues.

shes back... not much change... issues: cracked spark plug... was a tiny crack in it Timing was out... i moved the dizzy to get it to a point it will get to 80 kays to get it there AFM... they tried another 3, and still giving off same issues. will order a new AFM and get it fitted and tuned tomorrow after work so, they are ordering a new AFM $280, and will take it back tomorrow after work, install the AFM and dyno it up adjusting mixtures. whats a good ECU to upgrade to? im over **** old crap and want to do it all properly, and once, non of this crap anymore... haltech? wolf 3d? microtech? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

your ecu probly just got wet, happened to mine, and mine was only 4 years old.... open it up and look for corrosion, but its sounding like my problem, i changed my coil too and made 0 difference. ---------- Post added 27-03-12 at 16:34 ---------- but mine didnt happen when it was raining, it was when i drove up a steep ass driveway, so i instantly thought fuel, then ignition...

im going to go with swiftman on this, had a similar problem on my CT not long ago, AFM, CAS, coil etc all fine, fuel pumps tested fine, so i was leaning towards the ECU, pulled it out of the car and as soon as i tipped it on its side water was leaking out, unscrewed the casing and hit it with the air gun to dry it out and fine ever since, i was lucky tho every ECU i have seen get wet over the years has fried itself lol. Give it a try you never know!

after having the car booked in on 3 different occasions, rocking up, and "we can't do it", "there is something else on it" 45 minute round trip, they didn't bother calling me telling me they can't tune it... i aint going back there. anyone know anyone that will be able to tune a VL Turbo? Horsepower Factory never returned my calls, so i won't bother with them any others?
