It's in good nick but unregoed and is basically worth scrap value if you really feel the need buy a car that's already 'done' and the seller is having having trouble finding a buyer give it a few months and you'll realise that the lure of doing it yourself is just the stupid side of brain trying to convince the other side Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yeah hence why I'd be buying the neatest n/a calais turbo I could find for a decent price and then spending what coin I had left on smacking some good bolt on parts to that. Getting ripped paying way too much for a flogged turbo setup simply because it has an 8 on the end of the engine number on the block is just silly. Slap the good bolt on parts on the a6 and laugh at the gaylords wanking off over having a genuine a8 block in their non factory turbo chassis VL Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I won't buy another vl that any1 quotes " has everything already done, nothing to spend!" I bought a genuine 10 second vl which was also an ex street commodores feature car and after the 3rd drive leaned out and caused me a rebuild! Basically payed for a tidy rolling shell in the end! 35k + later and it's nearly done. 15k doesn't get u much in the way of quality in mechanical and panel/paint as a package, ul get one or the other generally, altho u mite get lucky tho and find sum1 needing a quick sale!

Yeah I agree. Start with a clean N/A Calais or SL whatever you prefer and build it from there. The only people who cares if it's "genuine a8 original turbo" will never buy it anyway, so who gives a ****. It's a ****ty VL anyway as much as we all love them they're not special if they're original turbo it's just another turbo VL. Start from a clean n/a and save yourself thousands! The standard gear that comes with a turbo will all end up stripped and sold anyway, and brakes and diff aren't hard to find replacements for, for a good price!

I just made my decision. and thanks. im looking for a RB30DET VL and the car being worked for 15 grand max. receipts. i will be bringing a mechanic with me with a list of the persons modded parts that can possibly be checked over and I will be looking for a test drive to make sure Im not buying a crud bucket. I drove an SS VZ 05 Commodore with a 3.5 grand exhaust all the way through the other day and I dunno if it was the p plater or not but it was pretty gutless man. Thats why I wanna get a worked VL now =] Anyone know of any Legit worked RB30DET's/RB30+aftermarket VL Cars in NSW ?? I would like to get u fellaz opinions first so I will keep you all updated.
