I originally had a MOMO Flyer on mine but given there were incorrect parts fitted to the AERO (which I made it my sole purpose to rectify), I thought I'd go "rare" on the wheel. So the wheel I ended up using was a high end option from Build 4000 onwards as featured in this video (2min.43sec) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBdppylOFX4 Besides the Ghibli Three, the AERO also came with a woodgrain MOMO Wheel if the car had the woodgrain treatment on the door panels, dash and glovebox. I was actually going to do the woodgrain treatment but as I was having trouble with my upholstering and idiot tradies back in Perth, decided against it as I reckon that would have pushed my build out another year + and more headaches. I spent countless months globally looking for the exact model MOMO Woodgrain wheel but came up blank. So decided not to do it. As it was I ended up finding my current wheel from Las Vegas in the states.

Yeah you're right - If you're after a MOMO HDT wheels from VC up to VN (especially VL), I've got tons of information. I know bugger all about Autotechnica wheels.

The horn pads were modified with a HDT logo for wheel models such as the Ghibli Three, Flyer and the Master. For mine (and Build 4000), the steering wheel was used on a particular model of Porsche and even the button had "PD" on it as in "Porsche Design". The horizontal spokes have "MOMO" (left) and "Design by F.A. Porsche" (right) on them. I spent months calling Porsche wrecking yards around the world (couldn't even find it in Germany) and talking to Porsche forums before I found my one. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

The closest you may be able to get is a wheel of an early MX5 as they are the "standard" HDT 380mm diameter but there are no dimples or "thumb horns". Do you also have the the MOMO Steering wheel hub adapter for your boyfriend's car? You need BOTH if this is the first time you're fitting a MOMO. hmm.. yeah ive seen a few of them, but i think the horn pad is pretty important to get as well.. um, im not sure. where do i get them from? ---------- Post added 21-02-12 at 09:42 ---------- guys, i dont know what i should do.. advise me!! im trying to be a nice lady to buy my boyfriend that steering wheel, i just dont know where to go or what to do lol. my dad was the one who was really into cars, so i only know a lil about this.. i appreciate all of your help Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
