yeah, that's way too lean under load even worse under boost. You have a boost reference line to the converter setup yes?

Yeah mate I've got lines hooked up from the cooler piping just after the cooler to the top of the converters

try the balance line from just after the turbo discharge, it usually richens things up under boost. forget lambda, AFR is universal, the numbers don't change for AFR and fuel type, lambda does. Suggest feed it whatever it wants at idle to get the smoothest idle, usually mid 12's, WOT no boost 14.5, with boost under 14 and low 13's at WOT with boost, cruise 15.5 to 16. Roughly speaking. WOT with boost I aim for 13.3 to 13.6, but every engine is different, how well the fuel distributes is important too, uneven distribution may mean that the engine may need a compromise AFR to get the most power, as some or one or two cyls might be lean, etc. Gotta read the plugs too really. With gas the pre turbine backpressure plays a big part in how you tune it, if it has a small rear housing, you may need to be more careful of being too rich, not that you are having that problem! Good flowing turbine I've found 13.6 is good power mixture, but it varies. Some dynos and widebands vary heaps too, even the very expensive units, numbers are only a guide, its what works that matters most. With the rods just do anything you can to make it smaller where it needs it, lathe, file, sandpaper, a simple backyard method is put rod in a drill and use a bit of sandpaper or a file, etc. EDIT, being that you only have 2.5psi base vapour press, that could be making the run leaner than it should, how small is the rod you have now?

The rod that's in there now is the standard one that comes with the 440 can't remember the number on it but it's a 3 step.... I'll move the balance line to the first bend of the cooler piping straight out of the turbo...I'll keep playing around with it and see what I can do in regards to richening it up I'll try moving the balance line first and failing that I'll just sand the metering rid down bit by bit till I can get it to richen up

Thanks man Not trying to be rude but do you think people that spend thousands and thousands of dollers on R&D, Half there life working on things are just going to tell everyone exactly how things are done? Would you just give that information away? I wouldnt but anyway....

Well some people in this day and age do like to help people who don't have thousands and thousands of dollars to just let some one do all the work for them, some people get more satisfaction out of trying things them self than just pulling out there hard earnd coin and letting some one else get the reward......but in saying that if and when mine makes some sort of power I won't hesitate at all to tell people where and what I have done to get to where I am... I'm here to help if I can it's no secret to me man I'm happy to share what ever

Im talking about research and development, no one ever gives away that stuff when people spend MOST of their lives learning it and all there OWN money. I dont get how you just expect people to just hand all that information over just to help people? I mean myself id always be happy to help people but somewhere there has to be a line!
