Everyone must be able to justify a media pass, ie prove media editorial usage thats acceptable and advantageous to the track, putting videos on youtube does not justify media coverage other wise anyone with a video camera and a computer could successfully get media, same with the photographers, just because you have a camera and website to upload pics to doesnt mean you should get media pass, they are the rules we have to go by and criteria to meet. Anyone including FPV and Rotorgeek are still able to film from the stands if they do not get media accreditation and they can upload their videos, they cannot just profit from the footage, ditto goes for any still photographer in the crowd.

Litttle confused here - So does wsid have a disclaimer about ANY footage/photo taken at the track cant be used or uploaded to youtube. After all the are the owners of that footage?!? Ohh yeah - Congrats to Moe & the Maatouk guys! It was only a matter of time before they dipped into the 7's!! Def a crowd fav Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Yes you can make money of youtube via ad revenue sharing. Yes WSID do have a policy on video. http://wsid.com.au/?m=content&id=14 It is similar policy that any sporting venue has in the country, while they may not enforce it, it does cover them in case something happens that they dont want everywhere. They never stopped FPV from filming, they just stopped giving him free entry.

Congrates to Moey!! and Maatouk racing.. wish i was there.. been chasing this 7 for a long time... Just want to clear something up guys, the whole media stuff had nothing to do with any of the photographers as stated above by Grant.. it needed to be reviewed by the track and ANDRA like they do every year and rules are rules, we follow them... Cheers jr
